These terms govern your use of my website and your purchase of The Speaking Gym. By using the site or buying the product, you agree to these terms and to my Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
"I," "me," and "my" refer to Jack Alexander English, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. "You" refers to anyone visiting the site or buying The Speaking Gym. "The site" refers to jackalexanderenglish.com and any related pages. "The product" refers to The Speaking Gym.
The site and the product are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the site or buying the product, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter a binding contract and that you will comply with these terms.

When you buy The Speaking Gym, I grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the product for your own English practice. You may duplicate The Speaking Gym into your own Notion workspace, use it indefinitely for your own learning, and print or save any part of it for your personal reference.

For the avoidance of doubt, the modification, reselling, reproduction, or redistribution of The Speaking Gym is strictly prohibited. The unmodified product may be used for your own personal learning. You may make notes and adjustments inside your own duplicated copy for your own use, but you may not distribute that copy, whether modified or unmodified, and you may not use any part of the product as the basis for a new product, template, course, or content offering.
If you breach this licence, I reserve the right to revoke your access to the product without refund, and to pursue any other remedies available to me under the law.
"Jack Alexander English" and "The Speaking Gym," together with my logos and branding, are my trademarks. Please do not use them without my prior written permission.

If you believe any material on the site or in the product infringes your copyright, please email me at hello@jackalexanderenglish.com with: (1) a description of the work you believe has been infringed, (2) where on the site or in the product the infringing material is located, (3) your contact details, and (4) a statement, made in good faith, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf. I will review the notice and respond as quickly as I can.
The site and The Speaking Gym are provided for general English-learning purposes. I do my best to make the content accurate and useful, but I do not guarantee that it is complete, up to date, or fit for any particular purpose. Your progress in English depends on you and how you use the product. Any reliance you place on the content is at your own risk.
All information collected about you on the site is governed by my Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By using the site, you agree to the way I handle your information as described there.
The Speaking Gym comes with a 7-Day Do-the-Work Guarantee. I would love you to complete Day 1 and give it an honest try first. If you then do not feel like it is for you, email me at hello@jackalexanderenglish.com within 7 days of your purchase and I will give you a full refund. No long forms. No proof needed.
To keep this simple and honest: any refund request made within 7 days of purchase will be honoured in full. Refund requests made more than 7 days after purchase will not be honoured.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting me for a refund, you forfeit your access to The Speaking Gym from the moment the dispute is filed. I reserve the right to present proof of your purchase, your access to the product, and these terms to the financial institution investigating the dispute.
Payments for The Speaking Gym are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record for the sale. This means Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, the receipt, and any applicable VAT or sales tax. Their own terms of service apply to the payment side of your purchase, in addition to these terms which govern your use of the product.
Prices on the site are shown in United States Dollars (USD). I may change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been completed.
The site and the product may contain links to other websites and resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for your convenience. I do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and am not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. If you choose to visit a third-party site, you do so at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.
I am based in the United Kingdom. The site and the product are designed for a global English-learning audience, but I make no claim that the content is appropriate or available for use in every country. If you access the site or the product from outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the site or the product.
My total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the site, the product, or these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid me for the product, or, if you have not bought the product, to £50.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to defend and indemnify me against any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of: (1) your breach of these terms, (2) your misuse of the site or the product, or (3) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or your use of the site or the product, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and I both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bristol, United Kingdom. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the EU country in which you live.
Waiver. If I do not enforce a right or provision of these terms, that is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of the terms will remain in full force.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with my Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and me regarding the site and the product, and replace any prior agreements or understandings between us on those subjects.
Assignment. I may transfer or assign these terms to another party if my business is sold, merged, or restructured. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else without my prior written consent.
